Out Today
COLDPLAY return with 'Music of the Spheres', a kind of sci-fi concept album produced by pop supremo Max Martin with features from K-pop phenomenon BTS and Selena Gomez. It's available on CD and recycled eco-mix coloured vinyl- in keeping with their recently announced "eco-friendly world tour".
Former SK guests FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES tackle the lockdown blues on 'Sticky', plus there's a soulful debut 'Skin' from London-based Bangladeshi-Irish singer-songwriter JOY CROOKES, new albums from producer (and Billie Eilish's brother) FINNEAS and VANISHING TWIN, and JOHNNY MARR releases a new EP.
Reissues
'Let It Be' is the latest of THE BEATLES albums to get a new mix from Giles Martin on CD and LP. A 2CD set adds in outtake highlights culled from the deluxe 5CD+Blu-ray and 4LP+12" box sets, which feature Glyn Johns' mixes for the legendary lost album 'Get Back'.
There are retrospectives from JUDAS PRIEST and previous visitors THE ALARM, PRIMAL SCREAM release the demos and WIP mixes from 'Screamadelica' as 'Demodelica', plus there are reissues from KYLIE, PAUL WELLER and a coloured vinyl pressing of Twenty One Pilots 'Blurryface'.
Pre-orders
The long-rumoured return from ADELE. '30' was officially announced today and is up for pre-order on CD and vinyl, including an indies clear variant.
Also due on 12th November, 'Red (Taylor's Version)' is the latest of TAYLOR SWIFT's rerecordings on double-CD and 4LP sets.
MOGWAI's three 90s EPs are issued together on vinyl for the first time since their original pressings in the form of the somewhat prosaically titled 'EPx3'
Coming in 2022, 'Ants From Up There' is a second album from the acclaimed, Mercury-nominated BLACK COUNTRY, NEW ROAD.
While BAND OF HORSES announced their first new material in five years 'Things Are Great'.
