Kae Tempest - The Line Is A Curve @ Marlborough Town Hall - Thursday 14th April

We're thrilled to announce an evening with award-winning poet, author and recording artist Kae Tempest at Marlborough Town Hall on Thursday 14th April.

The Ted Hughes Award-winning writer and BRIT, Mercury and Ivor Novello nominee will be performing an exclusive spoken word set to promote the release of their brand new album 'The Line Is A Curve', which features appearances from Lianne La Havas and Fontaines D.C.'s Grian Chatten and follows the acclaimed, Rick Rubin-produced 'The Book Of Traps and Lessons'.

Kae says of the album: "The Line Is A Curve is about letting go. The core of the record is that the pressures we face do not always have to be heavy burdens, but can be reframed; the more pressure a person is under, the greater the possibility for release."

'The Line Is A Curve' is released on Friday 8th April on CD, Deluxe CD, LP and Transparent Orange Deluxe LP. Tickets and bundles are available exclusively from Sound Knowledge from this page, in-store or over the phone on 01672 511106 and can be collected from the shop as from release day, or on the door of the Town Hall on the evening of the performance. Doors open 7pm.

There are a limited number of standalone tickets available in addition to the bundles for this event but we'd ask you to consider buying a bundle where possible- it's better value for you and album sales help the artist and also help us to organise these P.A.s.
